Have you ever gone through what feels like a never ending trial-and-error process searching for that one thing that finally helps? Well, that was me not too long ago. Following recent events in my life, I lost the ability to "handle" anxiety the way I easily did in the past and as a result spent many hours laying in bed with my chest pounding as if it wanted independence from the rest of my body. For those of you out there losing sleep and feeling the effects of anxiety, I'm sorry, I empathize with you. The cycle is vigorous and continues to feed itself at each iteration (anxiety - less sleep - more anxiety - even less sleep). Fortunately, this is not a sob story and does in fact have a happy ending, although I only wish it would have come sooner. I tried everything to help me get rest—from sleeping pills to taking enough Ibuprofen to sedate a small horse. Even if I was able to fall asleep, I'd wake up in the middle of the night with worse anxiety and would stay awake for hours until it was time to get ready for work. I was even mixing different pills like skittles—taking a bit of this and a bit of that, yet still nothing worked. Then, as if by the grace of God I came across this CBD Pre-Roll. I'll admit, at first I was skeptical because I had already tried some pills that had 50 mg of CBD and 10 mg of melatonin that worked the first night, but by the second night, I had to almost double my dose. I wasn't confident that the Pre-Rolls would be any different and become a non-sustainable remedy, just like all the others. The first night I tried it, it worked great! Though, I wasn't going to get my hopes up just yet. Then the next day it worked again, and again, and again. I was shocked, relieved, and excited. Not only did they help me fall asleep and kept me sleeping, but most importantly, it didn't give me a lick of drowsiness or "hangover," unlike all the pills I was taking before. It may seem like I’m exaggerating, but to me I feel like this CBD has saved my life.
